I'm an emerging artist based in Cardiff by the Sea, CA. My paintings are in the photorealistic style and are mainly acrylic on canvas. Subjects range from local architectural icons and signs to beach scenes—all of which are copied from my original photos. Influences include Edward Hopper and David Hockney. A long career as an advertising art director has influenced my work to include typography, dramatic lighting, and graphic compositions.

My figures were all sculpted in clay, based on live models. Some were coated with a faux bronze metallic paint. Others were painted white to simulate plaster or limestone. Influences include Rodin and Matisse.
